HIRSCHMAN AWARD NOMINATIONS WILL CLOSE ON MARCH 12

 

March 12 is the deadline for nominating your favorite partner or opponent for the Edith Hirschman Good Sportsmanship Award.  This award is given annually to the person who is consistently friendly, positive and gracious at the bridge table.

 

Nomination forms for this award are available at all the club games and can also be downloaded from the website.  Completed forms are to be returned to any club director by March 12.  Only Unit 533 members are eligible to receive the award, but all players are invited to submit nominations. 

 
The award recipient will be announced at the Unit Game Awards Ceremony on April 11 and presented with the traveling trophy for safekeeping until next year.  An added bonus is that all nominees will be given a “Hirschman Award Nominee” badge to wear on the day of the ceremony.
