Farewell
After 7 years of providing this web site, I am retiring now that it is moved successfully to a new location.  During those years, I've put in more free volunteer hours for the Unit than anyone else, but it's been a labor of love, I'm glad I did it and I hope that you enjoyed it.

On your Windows desktop, right click anywhere it's clear (not on top of another icon).

A list of things you can do will appear, among them "New".  Click on that word and a choice of "Folder" or "Shortcut" will appear; click on "Shortcut:"  A dialog box will appear asking you for the location of the site you want to go to: type in www.CoachellaValleyBridge.com and then click Next.

The next thing it wants is the name you will see on your desktop. Call it "BridgeSite" or "Results" or even "CoachellaValleyBridge"  Type that in, click Finish and you're all set.  From then on, just click that link once and you'll be there ASAP.

Of course, this works for creating a link on your desktop to any site on the Internet: so long as you know it's URL (location), you're in business.
