Hi to all the Alums
who attended and to those of you who didn’t attend!!!!
A good time was had by all. Friday night
at the players club was a warm up and casual get together. Many stopped by who
couldn’t make it on Sat. night and met with old friends from high school
and grade school. For some who were first timers it was a great ice breaker.
Saturday, we had a
hospitality room for those who were staying at the hotel and those who lived
in the area. It was open all day with snacks, beer and pop available to
all. Many who came into town on Saturday, stopped in and renewed old
friendships and memories. Many
old photographs and class pictures were passed around the room.
The evening get
together was a big success, with a great meal (hot buffet) with dessert,
that was enjoyed by all. We had grads from all over the country. They came from
California, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, Florida, Alabama, North & South
Carolina, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. Sad to note that half of the grads
that showed up were from out of town. Many
of our alum live right here in Toledo area and they don’t bother to
attend. So many are asked
about, but we are not making excuses for them, it is their loss.
There was dancing and mingling with many old friends, from grade
school on up.
Those of you who
couldn’t make it don’t know what you missed.
Many inquired about our 50th
in five years, and offered to help put it together. God willing and with lots of help, we will try to put it
together. Hopefully more people
will attend, as our class is getting
smaller every year.
