Guide to Adopting Two Over One

Start Easy and Go Slowly

A Recommended Sequence. A reasonable sequence of conventions for you to adopt Two Over One follows, assuming you start as a Standard American or Goren bridge player. You'll see how they all work in this series, but don't try to use them all at once. The later ones depend on the earlier ones, so start at the beginning and work your way down the list at a comfortable speed.

Figure on a year of competitive play to learn all of these and to be confident you can use them correctly.   There's lots more you can try, too -- later

4.  Count and Attitude Signal Systems,

5. Weak Jump Shift, 2NT and 3NT Responses
