Two Spades is the Minor Suit Slam Try Convention, Using Jacoby Transfers, our response of Two Spades is not used as a natural bid, so we make use of it to indicate an interest in slam in a minor suit.

It's called the Minor Suit Stayman convention. (MSS on the Convention card)

Mechanics. Responder bids Two Spades (alerted) showing the HCP and distribution for slam if opener has a 4+ card minor suit fit.

With no such fit, opener bids three of a major if he has 5 of them or Two No Trump with a minimum opener or Three No Trump with a maximum.
