If Opponents Interfere With a 2/1 Sequence

Double With Gusto. Opponents should be doubled for penalty if they interfere in a 2/1 sequence, unless the penalty won't compensate for your game or slam, of course.

Often, the 2/1 bidder whose turn it is to bid will pass when opponents interfere, allowing partner to decide whether to double for penalty or to continue on.
