Private Score Sheet
For Everyone to Record Their Scores. This is an illustration of a Private Score sheet. It's printed on the back of blank convention cards. In this example, an E/W pair has played boards 1 and 2 with N/S pair 7 and boards 5 and 6 with N/S pair 8. The scorer estimates matchpoints for the four boards at 1, 9, 0 (a bottom) and 6 (average). On it, you keep a record of all the bids, opponents, results and your estimated and actual match points won on the hand. You are required to keep the contract, board #, declarer and results during play in case of discrepancies. The director may ask to see your private score sheet at any time.
