Making Boards

Your Work. Hands or boards at tournaments don't come to your table pre-dealt - - you have to deal them out according to printed sheets of paper that a director will bring to your table.

First you sort the cards into suits - Spades, Hearts, etc.

Then each of the four of you will take one suit and distribute them to the proper hand, as indicated on the sheet, and place them into the boards.

You'll do this for two or three boards and possibly for two sets of boards. This all takes maybe 5 minutes max.

Of course you won't play these cards - - they'll be passed down to another table and you'll get your boards from another table who are making boards while you are doing the same.
