Hand Records
A Printout of Every Hand. One of the best things about tournaments is that all the hands are pre-dealt - randomly - by the ACBL, so there are printed hand records available immediately after each session is over. These are printed diagrams of all the hands you have just played. Review and Learn. This means you and your partner can review every hand and every card in all 26 hands while they are still fresh in your mind. This is the most common activity between sessions, and it often leads to intense discussions. In any case, hand records - free, by the way - are part of the fun of tournament bridge.(We keep our hand records from our wins in our Bridge Scrapbook, along with the ACBL Master Point award certificates to match. We always intend to duplicate the hands from our wins and let our friends at our tennis club duplicate play them, but we never get around to it. Maybe some day.)
