Bidding After a Two Over One Response

Slow and Easy.  A characteristic of the system is to bid slowly with strength and jump with weakness.

After a Two Over One response, we play all bids are forcing until game is reached, so we jump only to set the final contract. When the correct contract becomes evident to either opener or responder, it should be bid at once. This is called the Principle of Fast Arrival. Long bidding sequences simply aid your opposition.

Sometimes Short of Game. Technically, a two over one bidding sequence can stop short of game, but only at four of a minor when eleven tricks can't be reached and three Notrump is not feasible, or if the opponents volunteer to be penalized.
